New radiator came in the mail. Guess what? It's damaged. Damn it!

Got my new radiator in the mail (6th attempt at finding the correct one), I opened the box and noticed one of the hose ports was damaged. Then I realized the whole thing isn't square. Seriously, look how un 90 degrees it is. What the hell?! The box it was shipped in is perfect btw.

I want to go buy a nice radiator from a well know builder. But no. My dad says I can't buy a nice radiator and that I should be happy with a cheap Chinese piece of shit.

Could be worse. I waited a week for my K&N intake and when it finally came, I broke a piece on the install and had to wait another week and a half to get the replacement. Nothing worse than knowing you're the reason you can't finish a job. At least you can blame any number of anonymous people, but in my case I'm the asshole.

Just in case you haven't dealt with enough crap with radiators, pic and comments are kinja'd.

EDIT: At this point it night be cheaper/more reliable to buy a car that already has that radiator in it. Or hire someone to attach one to their car and drive it back to you. Or, mine the aluminum and cast one yourself.

If you have not gotten refunded shipping on your incorrect/damaged returns, I'd bet that you could have bought a new radiator from a trusted source by now.

Tell your dad that Ebay is not working, and that you are getting the right part from someone who knows what the fuck they are doing.

This radiator has virtually no affect on me, yet I still want to beat someone to a fine pulp just because they can't manage the simplest visual check. Seriously. Its that damn easy. /rant

I feel for you man. I'm going through some hell on Amazon* right now. Came into a bit of cash, and ordered a bunch of stuff. 2 of the probably 6 items I ordered were DOA. Thankfully, one was Prime, so I've got the replacement coming my way with free shipping. The other though...Is heavy and I have to eat the price of shipping to send it back, which is bullshit, but w/e

*This obviously isn't Amazon's fault; it's the sellers that are using Amazon. I actually really like (and recently, prefer) Amazon for buying this kind of stuff.

I deal with several vendors in my area that sell cheap but GOOD quality lifetime warrantied radiators, condensers, and fuel tanks.

I'm sure there's a 1-800-Radiator or locally owned shop in your 'hood.

It's annoying to receive damaged stuff. It hasn't happened to me many times but I have one quite bad example.

I bought a used high end bicycle wheel. The Finnish mail weren't doing very good job and I received the wheel in pieces. One piece of the rim was completely lost. The box resembled more bag than a box. The spokes are fiber wires so they shouldn't be straight when they are loose.

The worst part is the fact that Finnish post refunds the damages based on the package's weight! A light weight bicycle wheel doesn't weigh much so I was screwed badly.
